Hello chumps and chumpettes

After two hours dicking fighting the airport to let me get my bag, On saturday I got my bag. Reunited and it feels so goooooood.

Sunday we travelled to Cork, Ireland to Visit our old Friend Blarney Castle and That Famous Kissing stone. Twas a lucky day indeed! Cork was a decent place, very quiet and all the shops closed very early. I got sick in Cork, so now I’m on the “chesty syrup” to get rid of this cough and sniffles.

After Cork we headed back to Dublin for what was possibly the best concert ever. Muse was fricken amazing. Outside in a Park like 10,000 people bouncin around to Muse. Not a bad song in the set. It was raining, but the heat coming from the crowd was so much that the water evaporated before it got to our beaners. Then there was like these big balloons filled with red shit flying around it was awesome.

Were in Belfast now, heading to Scotland tomorrow!

Got back from the countryside and back into Amsterdam on Tuesday. Went to the Van Gogh and Amsterdam Hisory museums, Pretty amazing and interesting. Still waiting for the bags to be delivered to me. They were supposed to ship it overnight but took too long before I left for dublin, so the bags are being shipped there and I am here.

Dublin is a pretty cool place, very BC like, a la RAIN. We’re in a 10 € a night hostel so you can imagine how scuzzy it is, I don’t know how long we’ll last there but it’s pretty close to the main streets so thats cool.

I’m pretty anxious to get my clothes again but I fear its going to be a while yet.

We have arrived in holland! First Night we met Amanda and checked out the amsterdam night life. Saw the red light district, cleaner than I imagined, although still pretty scuzzy. The City is amazing, Big canals separating the roads, and BIKES! Everyone rides bicycles around here.

In the morning we met Matt’s Parents and took the train out to the countryside. Nice countryside. We arrived in Raalte and are now 2 days deep into the Family Reunion. Saturday all of us took a 30k bike ride around the countryside. Now all our asses hurt, but it was awesome. I totally wish we all rode bikes around vancouver, although the roads here are pretty well kept and are excellent for biking.

Went to another farmhouse, got totally smashed, went to the Lutenberg festival. Came back at 5am now I am here typing and thinking about going to throw up… Oh yep here it comes

July 30th

-Arrived 10am GMT at London - Dan’s bag didn’t

-Took train to Piccadilly Circus! No elephants could be found. Walked up a crazy hot street and got all sweaty.

- Found Hostel after being lost in the windy streets. Found 2pd beers called “VB” I believe thats australian for vivacious breasts.

- Was really tired so took a nap in a park.

- Went to some sandwhich shop, discovered how expensive London is.

- Washed my only set of clothes in the shower with me, then cryed myself to sleep over my lost excessive baggage.

July 31st!

-Matt decided 3AM was as good a time as any to get on the road. We walked around all confusy and found a double decker bus.

- Got to Train station way early (matt says perfect timing) had a fricken delicious coffee and Mcdonalds breakfast (cheapest) with “Brown Sauce”. HP SAUCE!

- Took the train to harwich, rather effortlessly, and discovered that Amsterdam this weekend is hosting a rather gay festival of gayness. The guy sitting with us on the train was rather excited(pun {matt says this isnt a pun, I disagree}) as he had glitter on his face and on butterfly wings to match.

- now on boat accross to holland, gonna go smoke a dube and have a coffee when we get there.

WE arrived in london today at 10am GMT, Flight was okay. Cramped etc etc. Guitar came through great! Seeing how its all I have to carry around! Yes, Those wonderful Zoom baggage handlers forgot to load my backpack. IF they find it I’m on one pair of clothes till the weekend. Oh and it was 32C in London today I STINK!

I’ve begun to work heavily on a second demo reel. Hopefully utilizing more complete scenes and no stupid turn arounds. Stay tuned for some new WIPS.
